International Award-Winning Burlesque Performer + EducatorLola Frost is a lifelong mover, educator, performer, and studio owner whose career has been shaped by a fascination with what bodies are capable of—and the many different ways we can experience movement within them.
From their early years as a competitive figure skater to an 18-year international career as an award-winning burlesque headliner, movement has been Lola's profession, creative language, and lifelong practice. Her career took her to stages across North America and Europe while simultaneously building nearly two decades of experience teaching movement, group fitness, dance, and performance.
Lola began her formal fitness education in 2008, earning BCRPA Group Fitness Theory and Group Fitness Leader certifications and teaching at Vancouver's Tantra Fitness. She went on to complete certifications across multiple levels of pole and erotic movement while developing and teaching progressive dance, fitness, and performance programming.
In 2011, Lola co-founded the Vancouver Burlesque Company, where they served as a founding owner, instructor, and curriculum creator. Alongside her business partner, Lola helped build a studio and movement community centred around exceptional education, creative expression, inclusivity, and the belief that there is no single right way to inhabit or celebrate a body.
After years as a professional performer—and the injuries, rehabilitation, and physical demands that came with that career—Lola's curiosity increasingly turned toward the mechanics behind movement. Pilates became the place where her backgrounds in performance, fitness, strength, and movement education converged.
Lola has now completed more than 600 hours of Pilates training, studying across both classical and contemporary approaches. Their Pilates education began with Classical Mat and Standing Pilates through the PhysicalMind Institute before expanding into the contemporary, therapeutically informed Pilates Process method, where she has completed additional Mat certification alongside Reformer Levels 1, 2 + 3 and Cadillac Levels 1 + 2.
As her practice and education have continued to evolve, Lola has stepped into the role of Apprentice Teacher Trainer with Pilates Process under the mentorship of Alison Ward. This next chapter allows her to deepen not only the way she teaches Pilates, but the way she supports and educates other movement professionals—continuing a lineage of thoughtful, adaptable, and therapeutically informed Pilates education that has profoundly influenced her own approach.
Studying across different Pilates lineages has shaped the way Lola understands and teaches movement. Rather than asking a body to conform to an exercise, they are interested in understanding the intention behind the movement and finding the version that best serves the person in front of them. Lola's classes blend Pilates principles with decades of experience in fitness, dance, strength, performance, and movement education—balancing precision with exploration and challenge with choice.
In 2022, Lola relocated from Vancouver to Okotoks, Alberta, and in 2023 opened Full Circle Movement Studios. What began as the next chapter of their own movement career has grown into a multidisciplinary studio offering Pilates, Barre, strength + conditioning, and yoga, supported by a team of highly trained, multi-certified movement professionals.
Now entering its fourth year, Full Circle reflects much of what has shaped Lola's career: comprehensive education without taking ourselves too seriously, movement that can be both intelligent and joyful, and a community where people are encouraged to build a relationship with movement that belongs to them.
Today, Lola's work extends beyond teaching classes. As Full Circle's founder, she develops programming, mentors instructors, shapes the studio's movement methodology and education standards, and continues to deepen her own practice, education, and teaching.
Whether she's leading a Reformer class, working one-on-one with a client, mentoring an instructor, developing programming, or geeking out over the why behind an exercise, Lola brings technical curiosity, a performer's creativity, and nearly two decades of teaching experience into the room.
Their philosophy is simple: We don't teach bodies to serve the exercise. We use the exercise to better serve the body.

Certified Aquafit Instructor
Professional Dance Background
Mechanical Engineering DegreeMovement has always been Robyn’s mother tongue.
From her earliest ballet classes as a child to a career creating and performing on stage as a professional dancer, movement has long been both her expression and her compass—an avenue for creativity, connection, and understanding herself more deeply.
With a unique background bridging the analytical precision of engineering and the artistry of professional dance, Robyn brings a thoughtful and multidimensional approach to movement education. Her teaching blends intelligence, curiosity, technical knowledge, and playfulness—creating experiences that support both physical strength and inner awareness.
Robyn holds certifications across multiple disciplines including Pilates Mat and Reformer, Barre, Aquafit, Yin Yoga, and a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training, allowing her to draw from a rich and diverse movement toolkit. Her classes often weave together mindful movement, mobility, strength, breath, and exploration—encouraging clients to move not only with intention, but with joy.
Yoga, in particular, has become an anchor in Robyn’s life—offering grounding, perspective, and a deeper connection to the quiet wisdom within. It is through this lens that she approaches teaching: helping people tune into their bodies, cultivate curiosity, and discover movement as a lifelong relationship rather than a destination.
Robyn believes there is no finish line in movement or wellness—we are all students on the path.
Her classes offer a welcoming space to explore strength, mobility, presence, and possibility—with a sense of play, compassion, and discovery along the way.
